This document is part of the BRICs Practice Management Model Office Curriculum.  It has a two page forward and a seven page executive summary.  it was created to help people understand how Bookkeeping and Accounting were done  before computers and to help them understand how it can still be done today without computers.  Understanding processes and requirements before considering computer use really helps wth this topic.  This document has a two page forward, a 7 page executive summary . It also introduces a reader to mockup banking website to help with understanding how such a website can be used to assist with a manual bookkeeping process. 

This has 4 pages of basic theory. it then has a few pages of FAQs separate by questions from people without experience and  people with experience.  It also briefly talks about what prevented the rise of spreadsheet based accounting systems earlier

This website gives some background as to what it was like trying to learn Bookkeeping and Accounting in the 1990s.  It then provides an over view and details for doing bookkeeping in any digital system.  The steps are actually specific to the ZAP Bookkeeping Software template, but they are generally universal steps as well.

The ZAP Accounting Software website is expansive and it can feel a little overwhelming. This helps provide an introduction to that information adn it provides some visuals that are intended to help what it provides and why that is important and different from what others provided. 

This helps get you prepared for the Accounting Studio Magic curriculum. Much of this may be a duplicate as found in the ZAP Sofware website introdution. 

This is comprehensive course material all presented on Google Slides.  It is intended to be printed and bound and/or shared in a class room setting.
